I have now decided to remove the BlogRush widget from my site, I had the widget on my site for around a month, and as a follow up to my post ‘BlogRush: The Visitors Experience‘, where fellow bloggers have also said goodbye to the widget, I have followed suit.

I will be tracking any changes in terms of traffic and page load times over the next few weeks and will provide a follow up post in around a month where I will reveal if it had a positive or negative effect on the website.

For those of you who are not aware BlogRush is a blog syndication network that could bring a lot of traffic to your blog. It is very easy and quick to set-up and could bring you valuable traffic to your blog.

I received some good traffic from BlogRush, but feel the widget may be having a negative effect on my blogs visitors.

I will post some more feedback in a few weeks time. Remember to check back if you are a BlogRush user, or even if you are contemplating using BlogRush.
