As many of you have seen there was a PR update today and over the next few days. As of yet ProTycoon.com has not changed, I am still at PR1 which is pretty annoying! The toolbar PR shows your rank as about a month ago, so as ProTycoon.com is only 5 months old, a PR1 is not a bad start. I was hoping for a PR3 though.
Some of my other blogs are PR4 and PR3 which is nice!

Thanks for the Love Dave! People have been going crazy over the update…I just tried to provide a little comic relief as well as my input on the situation.

Glad I came across this- I’m writing on page rank this week, inspired by my sudden PR drop from a 3 to a 1 (Give me back my 2 points Google!) I received a few links from 0 PR sites this week, so I’m pretty certain that triggered the drop. I’ll be waiting to see what happens when those sites are finally PR’d. Thanks for the great tips!

@Bri Jeni: I’m not too sure if the links pointing back to you (since you mentioned “received a few links) from a lower PR will affect your PR in the end but it just doesn’t make all the sense to me. I may be wrong… if that’s the case, how are you going to control who is linking to you?
What I’m trying to say is that if you have a killer article, everyone is going to talk about it and link back to you regardless of their PR status and are you going to state something like “Hey, please link back to me ONLY when you have PR 3 or above”?

well, i’m not happy nor sad with the update because nothing change in my blog. google still penalized me after doing some paid links.

PR0 are not a bade thing. Google does not penalise for lower ranked links! Only links in link farms are bad.
