Importance of keywords in Google ad words

Keywords are those very important words in the world of Google ad words that offer you a niche over the rest in the business of ads on the internet.
The keywords initiate Google to show your ads when people or your potential would be customers search for the terms and thus the results relevant to the same are then displayed on site along with your sponsored ads on the right side of the results being displayed.

Let’s take for example you are in cloth business and you specialize in selling baby clothes so what will your key words be, “Clothes” NO it has to be Baby Clothes cause it’ll be worthless to unnecessarily go about having more competitors in the line of field where you don’t provide service at all. So the importance of key words is “relevance” to your work for best hits to come across your site and fetch you good money making business options.

Though the customized versions allow a bit of diversion from the initial line of reference, that is when some one types or searches for Baby food, or baby toys, or just plainly babies there still is a chance that your ad word may be displayed in such contexts there is over more a possibility of the user to o ahead and click your site cause he or she may not be interested at first but may seemingly get interested on due course of browsing the net and getting to see a featured ad of yours site and go about surfing through your product line and may be actually ending up purchasing few of them. Because what matters the most at the end of the day is how much you make out of it, thus realizing the importance of keywords is very necessary.

Keywords are further classified into four sub divisions these are an initiative by the team Google to help you serve better and ease out your problems and they happen to be as:

1) Broad match
2) Phrase match
3) Exact match
4) Negative keyword.

Broad matching refers to the default option which will make your ads appear for relevant matches such as plurals or keyword variations. As the name suggest it is not as narrowed an option like in Exact or Phrase match and offers you more freedom.

Secondly the Phrase match option involves surrounding the keyword specified by you in inverted quote, say for example “keyword”. When we use phrase matching, the ad would appear for the selected search terms in the order that we have specified, and in some cases for some other terms too.
The most preferred or lets put it the most logical sounding option is the Exact keyword as it displays the ad only when the keyword is exactly being searched for, it avoids all useless search information and ensures display of your ad when the appropriate term is being searched.
Lastly the Negative keyword as the name suggests, refers to the option where in you would want to specify the keywords for which results you don’t want your ads to be displayed,

Reading through all that was above the main reason behind the article is to make aware adwords user about the options available and the importance keywords.
Happy browsing………..
