Friday 13th Links Roundup
I was not sure if I should write a post today with it being Friday 13th, a day well known for its bad luck. Instead I have decided to do a short links roundup of good posts I have read recently.
Before I get onto the links roundup I would like to say a big thank you to Kevin Muldoon from bloggingtips.com, who has kindly sent me a copy of the ProBlogger Book. Bloggingtips.com is a blog I have subscribed to and comment on alot, I have also done a guest post over there entitled ‘Improve Bounce Rate By Optimizing 404 Pages‘. I would recommend this blog to anyone that has a keen interest in blogging and wants to learn how to make their blog more successful. It is written by a team of writers, so it generates alot of different opinions giving a broader look at blogging as a whole.
There is also the Blogging Tips forum, which I have recently signed up for, It is a forum dedicated to blogging and I highly recommend that you check it out.
Some good posts I have read recently:
- Six Ways To Find Time To Blog When You Don’t Have Any
- Deciding Between Short and Long Blog Posts
- 50 Tips to Make Money Blogging by Building a Better Blog
- Blogging Recipe for WordPress Newbies
- Why You Should Always Use Digg
- All You Can Eat Blogging and Social Media Posts
I hope you find those posts useful. I would also like to apologise for the lack of new posts in recent days, I am currently sitting exams, but will soon by back to full blogging power, stay tuned for a busy summer..
For all of you that are watching the European Championships, head over to Fantasy Football Guru for my analysis.

I have done one, “Systems Analysis”.
I still have three left to do:
Networking Administration
Computer Systems &
C Programming
but will all be done by this time next week…
then I have the whole summer to get this blog where I want it to be!

Nice one. Sounds like your doing a similar course to me – is it a computer science degree your doing? I did a degree in maths, statistics and finance but I went back to uni 2-3 years later and did a post grad in software development. I did C+ in my degree but did a lot of analysis and java in my post grad.

Currently I am finishing my first year of a HND in Computing, a 2 year course, then move onto a 3rd year to make it a Degree in Computing.
Sounds like you do alot of studying!

lol no. I did my financial exams after my post grad but since going self employed via the web a few years ago I’ve not had to study for any exams….thank god!!
