This is just a quick shout out post to warn you all the 1st May 2008 is RSS Awareness Day. RSS Awareness Day is a concept that was drawn up by Daily Blogging Tips to help raise awareness of RSS and the benefits it can have for everyone that uses the internet.
How do you participate?
If you want to get involved then all you have to do is write something about RSS on May 1st. Daily Blogging Tips gives some advice on what you can do to get involved:
You could mention that it is the RSS Awareness Day or simply teach your readers about RSS. Write a poem about RSS, share your favorite RSS feeds and so on. Anything is welcomed, as long as it helps to raise the awareness about this wonderful format.
There is also a chance to win some great prizes by getting involved. Details of these can be found at Daily Blogging Tips. There is also a website dedicated to RSS Awareness Day.
